Evoke: Three-Part Album
A debut electronic album released in three parts: the record, the remixes, and a set of ambient mixes. Written, produced, engineered and art-directed end to end.
Challenge
Cross from playing in bands to releasing electronic music with no label infrastructure: no engineer, no art director, no budget.
Approach
Learned the desk instead of hiring one. Wrote, recorded, mixed and mastered the record, then designed the artwork and campaign around it, and released it in three parts so the material had room to breathe.
Outcome
A remix package featuring Amonita, Tuman and Tayu, an ambient companion release, and an interview feature with When We Dip.
